We are recruiting a Systems Administrator, who is responsible for managing active directory, troubleshooting user-related issues, and installing hardware/software. Your role as a trusted custodian of our sensitive information and systems will require you to maintain professionalism and ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our information systems.
Key responsibilities include establishing and maintaining classified information systems following DoD, DSS, NIST, and JSIG guidelines, configuring network protocols and authentication, maintaining network servers, managing active directory and group policies, performing system administration duties, enforcing security measures, and providing technical support on projects.
Additionally, you will conduct preventative maintenance, troubleshoot network issues, and ensure compliance with change management processes.
To be successful in this role, you should possess strong knowledge of security policies, technical safeguards, and operational security measures. You must have experience with Windows and server operating systems, as well as familiarity with vulnerability and compliance scanning tools. DoD 8570 Compliance is required by certifications such as Network+, Security+ CE, CCNA – Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND or SSCP.
