The ideal candidate will have success in improving processes and supporting clients to maximize their use of the Salesforce platform. The role will work closely with clients’ functional leaders and subject matter experts to identify, develop and deploy new business processes, document the details of the implementation, and train users to drive and support adoption of the platform. In addition, the role with work closely with the Solutions Architect for the delivery of robust, business-aligned systems.
This role requires strong client and project management skills, technical understanding, and business acumen. The Solutions Consultant will be responsible for gathering and documenting requirements for complex new implementations of Service Cloud and other Salesforce products.
What You’ll Do:
Help clients to identify, design, and develop new business processes and solutions to business-critical challenges
Work closely with the Solutions Architect to align on requirements, deliverables, and deadlines. Create functional technical documentation (process flows, architecture diagrams, etc)
Works with a Solutions Architect to establish the client’s configuration approach in support of the customization of the solution. Responsible for working with a Solutions Architect gaining design approval by security design review, and other required design review teams.
Maps business requirements to system/technical requirements
Works with client team and/or solution implementer to lead analysis sessions related to the success of the application.
Leads functional design sessions with support from a Solutions Architect.
Able to understand, clarify, and communicate complex processes.
Sees the project to completion, with a fully customized solution, ensuring that it meets business requirements.
Responsible for building consensus and influencing decision-making towards key project outcomes.
Skills & Knowledge:
Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce products such as Service Cloud its’ impact on other systems.
Ability to prioritize multiple concurrent priorities.
Provide solutions as a result of proactive researching skills, find unknown items on the fly, possibly when on a call with a client.
Build trusted relationships and find creative, effective solutions.
Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
Collaborate with the Solutions Architect and team as well as work independently with positivity.
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards.
Successful large end to end Salesforce implementations for at least five years.
Agile project management experience.
ITIL Framework experience, conversant with change management, incident management and service requests.
