Director of Learning, First Responders-Collaborate to build the next generation First Responder Workforce
Our client is a purpose-driven organization with the meaningful mission of supporting and celebrating California’s first responders, the heroes of our state who work tirelessly against a variety of threats, including California wildfires. Avanti is actively searching for a Director of Learning to work with a bright, energetic team to oversee the planning, prioritization, and development of new training programs and initiatives in an employee-friendly environment.

Work from your home office two days a week and collaborate with your team in office three days a week in Sacramento.

As a key contributor and crucial team member, your strong background and experience will be valued. You have experience in project management, curriculum development, excellent writing skills, and thrive as a leader and mentor. This role is imperative to help build the next generation of first responders with a robust, diverse workforce.
You will work with organizations throughout California to improve the training for first responders while planning and organizing new training curriculum.
You will stay abreast of and inform the organization of new and changing landscapes in the industry by participating in advisory Boards and legislative events.
You will collaborate with subject matter experts to finalize a training curriculum while also keeping versed in state issues that affect first responders.
